A Family is a House

The Parents are the Floor
And everything is decided on and by
The Floor of the House
For without it, the House
Does not stand
The Floor should be respected
For it is used everyday
And must get tired
So be kind to the Floor
And everything is created
After the Floor
For the Floor starts it all

The Rules the Cornerstones
Firm and strong
Never to be broken
For when a Cornerstone breaks
Everthing fails
And the Cornerstones
Are create by the Floor
For they come with the Floor
And the Walls better get used to it

The Children are the Walls
Brought upon the floor
With the Floor regretting the weight
From time to time
But the Walls only stand
Because of the Floor
For without the Floor
The Walls would fall
And the Walls are fragile
For when attacked
They tend to crumble
But the Floor catches them
And they are rebuilt
On the Floor

The Roof is the Love
And Happiness
Of the Family
That makes them
Want to help
And protect each other
It is built about
And on top
Of them all
For it comes after the rest
Have all been assembled
And they all make it
And because of them
The Roof is the strongest

The Parents are the Floors
The Rules the Cornerstones
the Children the Walls
the Roof their Will to Protect
And their Happiness
And their Love
A House is a Family
For it is Strong
